Tips for Safe CBD Use

Tips for Safe CBD Use

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural chemical component found in marijuana and hemp plants. The cannabis plant is usually processed to produce hemp extract, which contains CBD and other cannabinoids like CBG and CBN.

Full Spectrum CBD oil products contain traces of THC and are labelled as such. Other hemp-derived CBD products, referred to as Broad Spectrum CBD, eliminate the THC from the CBD oil. CBD does not give you a “high” feeling like THC, the main active element in marijuana, with adverse psychoactive effects.

You should not expect sensations of exhilaration when using CBD. Instead, CBD provides natural health advantages, especially when used daily, for several health and wellness conditions.

CBD can be as simple to include into your daily routine as a regular multivitamin, depending on how you utilise it. Keep the following safe CBD use tips in mind to make CBD a breeze for your first time as a daily supplement!

Pay attention to the instructions!

So, this may seem self-evident, and we regret in advance if we insult your brain here, but before you take your CBD, please read the dosing instructions on the container!

This is especially true if you’re taking CBD oil orally (under the tongue), as it’s important to keep the oil there for at least 30 seconds before swallowing. Because the sublingual area is densely packed with salivary glands and capillaries, the body has plenty of time to absorb the CBD component into the bloodstream and deliver it to other parts of the body.

Pay attention

You’d be surprised how many individuals simply rip open the box, shoot a dropper of oil into their lips, and swallow, only to be disappointed when they don’t detect any effects. The oil is most likely “sliding” down the oesophagus, into the gut, and then to the liver, where it will be processed for urinary excretion. Allow your body time to absorb the active ingredient.

Find the correct mix of strengths

Our CBD Oil mixtures are available in three concentrations: 5%, 10%, and 15%. Because the 15% and 10% blends include a higher dosage of CBD, they are better suited to experienced users. If you’re just getting started with CBD, we recommend starting with the 5% blend.

Look for CBD products that are full-spectrum

This is important advice for getting the most out of CBD, as almost all experts believe that full-spectrum CBD tinctures are far more effective than CBD isolation.

You might be asking what “full-spectrum” means, and Full-spectrum simply indicates that the oil contains all of the active cannabis chemicals rather than just the CBD. Cannabis has hundreds of phytocannabinoids and dozens of distinct terpenes, and scientific studies have shown that when all of these compounds operate together, the plant’s therapeutic benefits are considerably more potent than when they work alone.

Check to see if your CBD has been tested by a third party.

What is the significance of third-party testing? Ensuring your product has been third-party tested gives you confidence in the ingredients and helps you know exactly what you’re putting into your body. Third-party testing provides a clear picture of what’s on the inside.

Begin small and work your way up.

Take one drop under the tongue with eating for the first couple of days. Hold the oil in your mouth for about a minute before swallowing. CBD Oil has an earthy flavour that takes some getting used to, but then again, most healthy things don’t taste nice!

Decide whether you want to raise the dosage after two or three days. Again, take it slowly. We recommend starting with a single drop twice a day for a couple of days, then increasing to a single drop three times a day.

You may increase the number of drops taken each time from 1 to 2 after a few weeks.

Make CBD creative

When it comes to including CBD in your diet, you have a lot of options. In the kitchen, CBD can be a game-changer. You can put a few drops of CBD oil in your salad dressing or bake CBD cookies or brownies if you’re feeling more adventurous. You can also incorporate CBD with peanut butter and bananas in your morning smoothies for a smooth dosage of CBD to help you get through the day!

Create a CBD-infused ‘super’ coffee!

So this suggestion is a little more “abstract,” but some people swear by mixing CBD oil into a “super” coffee.

Super coffee is just coffee with extra saturated fats that are good for you, such as organic grass-fed cow butter and palm oil. The high lipid content of CBD oil combined with these saturated fats is thought to assist “pick up” the active cannabidiol, allowing it to be more efficiently delivered to the bloodstream — and, eventually, to the proper parts of the body for an enhanced therapeutic response.

This isn’t a scientifically proven strategy, but if you’ve been unhappy with the effects of CBD oil, it’s worth a try (or lack thereof).

Expect nothing short of a miracle

According to a preliminary study, CBD may provide some health benefits, particularly in the treatment of epilepsy. Indeed, the FDA recently approved Epidiolex, a CBD medicine, for two uncommon but deadly forms of that ailment. According to recent research, CBD may also aid with other health issues such as multiple sclerosis, pain, and anxiety.

That doesn’t rule out the possibility of using CBD for other uses. So, while you may hear of people using CBD to treat everything from anxiety and back pain to ADHD and sleeplessness, don’t expect it to be a panacea.

Don’t go overboard.

Even though CBD is non-toxic, we always recommend starting slowly, especially if you’re new to it.
