2. Legal Compliance & Jurisdiction
Hempthy operates under the laws of Northern Ireland and the wider United Kingdom. All CBD products sold on this website comply with UK regulations, including:
Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidance for novel foods
Home Office compliance on controlled substances (0.2% THC limit for hemp-derived products)
MHRA guidelines (products are not sold as medicines unless approved)
By purchasing, you confirm that it is lawful for you to do so in your jurisdiction. We do not sell products intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. You should consult with a healthcare professional before using any supplement, particularly if pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
3. Limitation of Liability
Hempthy will not be liable for any damages (including indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, profit or business interruption) arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its products, unless arising from gross negligence or fraud.
We do not warrant that the site will be free from errors, malware, or interruption. In the event of a website-related issue, your only remedy is to cease using it. In the event of a product issue, please refer to our Returns Policy.

4. Product Legality Disclaimer
Our CBD products are not medicines and should not be used as a substitute for medical advice. They are classified as novel food supplements under UK law and must not be advertised with medical claims. All products are intended for adult use only (18+). We do not guarantee legality outside the UK — international customers purchase at their own risk.

6. Products, Prices & Specifications
Product details, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe products and imagery, but colours and textures may appear differently depending on your device.
You are responsible for ensuring any product ordered is legal to purchase in your jurisdiction. By placing an order, you confirm that products will be used in a lawful manner.
7. Shipping, Risk & Customs
All orders are shipped in accordance with our shipping terms. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any loss/damage claims directly with the courier.
For international customers: you are solely responsible for duties, taxes, and compliance with import laws in your country. We do not guarantee delivery if customs laws prohibit the products.
8. Returns & Refunds
You may return unopened and unused items within 14 days of receiving your order in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To qualify for a refund:
Products must be in original, sealed packaging
Items must be returned in resalable condition
Returns must be sent to the address below with proof of purchase
You may be liable for any diminished value if items are opened or used beyond what is reasonable for inspection.

Please contact us before returning an item. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product is faulty.
9. Right to Cancel
Under UK law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving goods. To exercise this right, email our support team with your order number and request cancellation. We will process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
10. Warranty & Faulty Goods
All products come with a statutory 2-year right to complain about defects (under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, as amended). This does not apply to misuse, damage caused by improper handling, or wear and tear.
11. Age Restriction & Account Security
By creating an account or placing an order, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into a contract.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Hempthy reserves the right to refuse service, cancel accounts, or decline orders at our discretion.
12. Privacy & Data Use
All data is processed in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We do not share your information with third parties except to process your order or comply with legal obligations.
